POTD 4/21/12 Lavtory Portraits
I’m terribly pee-shy and airplane bathrooms were little pockets of hell for me on long flights before I started bringing a self-catheter kit in my carry-on luggage. But where I see only misery and torment, talented artist Nina Katchadourian sees a template for whimsical art. I can’t entirely explain why, but her Lavatory Self-Portraits in the Flemish Style really made my day today.
